Rachel Osterbach is an American reality TV personality and an insurance worker professionally.
Born with Down Syndrome, she is best known for her appearance in the A&E’s reality show, Born This Way, where she proved to the million viewers that the disabled could do well as normal persons.
The show was a big hit, and her cast along with six others was so much loved that the show won two Emmy Awards for Best Reality Casting and Outstanding Cinematography for a Reality Program.

Rachel Osterbach has been working in a clerical position in the insurance industry for thirteen years.
Apart from this, she is actively involved in social work and awareness programs.
She was appointed by California Governor Jerry Brown to serve on the State Council on Developmental Disabilities as an advocate for disabled individuals who are eligible for state services. She was also appointed for the second term in 2016 and third in 2018.
Additionally, she has been serving as a global messenger for Special Olympics Southern California visiting different places and giving speeches to the groups of people to raise funds and awareness.
Keeping several responsibilities, Rachel was energetic enough to participate in the Bunim/Murray Productions’ reality TV show called Born This Way, which was released on 8th December 2015 and lasted until December 2019. The show featured seven adults with Down Syndrome who struggle hard to achieve goals and overcome their obstacles.
Being one of the cast members of the show, Rachel can be seen doing her best to find love and getting repeatedly rejected, along with doing her job in the insurance company.
