44-year-old Kirk first opened up his eyes on 31 October 1974 in Massachusetts, USA.
He was one of three boys to his parents, Peter Minihane and Patricia Doucet, whom he lost within an interval of two months. His father passed away on 4 May 2017 because of multiple myeloma.

The events of his parents passing away did not end there as he lost his mother just a month later. His mother had suffered from Pancreatic cancer for several months and finally left the world on 22 June 2017, about a month after his father's death.

Kirk shared a cordial bond with his parents which led him to mental health problems after their death. Unable to come to terms of their death in a matter of months, he suffered from several bouts of depression.
However, Kirk's close-knit family which also consisted of his two brothers helped themselves console on the loss and move on with life. Not just that, his wife and children also helped him look towards the future and not dwell upon the loss.

Largely popular for his blunt attitude, Kirk's wonderful persona is not for all. But it has proved to be a hit with his wife and children, who love him for who he is.
Kirk is happily married to his wife, Christine. Though Kirk time and often mentions his wife on social sites, it is still unknown when he got hitched with his beloved.
