A year later, on 12 April 2017, in an exclusive interview with the BRIDES, Emily and Max gave insights to their big day. They said how the favorite part of it was not their first kiss or the reading of their vows but the moment when they got to run away from their wedding as Mr. and Mrs. and enjoy their mini-moon at the Ludlow Hotel.

Also, they went on how the married life was treating them so well. Max confessed that he loved referring to Emily as his wife. His words:

I just love telling everyone Emily is my wife. I'm so proud to be her husband. Waking up next to her every day and our little dog sleeping above our heads...It's just the best.
