Tim Kubart is an American actor and musician who was born on July 25 in 1984 in Long Island, New York in the United States. Kubart has won the Grammy Award for Best Children's Album for his album Home in the year 2016. Tim attended Fordham University at Lincoln Center and graduated from there in 2006 with a degree in Theatre. 

 Kubart is also the host of Sprout's Sunny Side Up, which enjoyed a guest appearance from Michelle Obama in 2015. Tim`s mission in work and life is to spread kindness and joy and to encourage other people to do the same.

Tim was very passionate about making music for kids and families. It all started while he was volunteering in the nursery of an NYC homeless shelter during college. His "indie pop for all ages" aims to entertain every kind of people young or old. Tim and his songwriting partner Matt Puckett. Tim also had a band called The Space Cadets, and they perform on live shows which are an interactive dance party for all ages.

He is best known as the "Tambourine Guy" from the viral music collective group called Postmodern Jukebox. His clowning around with PMJ has helped them reach over 500 million views on their YouTube channel. They also had the number 1 spot on the iTunes Jazz charts for five consecutive albums.

Tim hosts the only live morning show for preschoolers which is called Sunny Side Up, on NBC Universal's Sprout Channel when he's not dancing with his tambourine with the band. In the program with his co-host Chica, the Chicken, Tim sings songs, performs sketches, and celebrates everyday moments for a national audience of kids and their care takers every day.

Tim is also a voiceover artist and professional actor. He has worked consistently since high school with credits on soap operas, prime time television, and numerous national commercials and campaigns. He's played as the leading man in tween-targeted web series for both and CosmoGirl.

He is a guitarist and bass player for upcoming New York artists and moonlights on NBC as the house bass player for seasons 7-9 of America's Got Talent. He will be performing live at Radio City Music Hall to 12 million people nationwide.
