Whitney Way Thore entered the reality television world with the goal to lose her plus-sized weight.
The TLC show, entitled, My Big Fat Fabulous Life, chronicles different aspects of the 'Fat acceptance' movement activist.
It all started back in 2014 when her video on YouTube- "A Fat Girl Dancing" went viral, gathering more than 2.5 million views, and now 10 million and counting.
The video's massive success landed Whitney's special appearances on ABC News, NBC's The Today Show and The Huffington Post: and a year later a show on TLC.

Whitney's family comprises of her father, mother, Barbara “Babs” Thore, and younger brother, Hunter Thore who is an actor and filmmaker.

Her family is often spotted making appearances on the show, My Big Fat Fabulous Life. In fact, her folks have even garnered a fan-base of their own.

Her father, back in the days, checked out books from the library to learn how to play soccer and eventually also began coaching his son and daughter.
The president of the entire Greensboro Youth Soccer Association, as described by her daughter is the most selfless, most loved and appreciated man on earth.
Height & Weight
Whitney stands to a height of 5 feet and 4 inches (1.63 meters) while the figure to her weight is somewhere around 120 Kg (264.6 pounds).
Whitney routinely shares her workout photos and videos with her people. While she receives overwhelming support for nailing some pretty tough moves, there also have been negative bashings on her not losing weight despite many attempts.
But then, Whitney, diagnosed with polycystic ovary syndrome, tries staying unfazed and does her best to become healthier and happier.
Engaged To Boyfriend, Chase Severino!
"It has truly been a dream" come true for Whitney, ever since she said 'Yes!' to her handsome of a hunk boyfriend, Chase Severino, on the 9th of October 2019.
She went holidaying to Paris and magically came back- engaged!
However, they successfully kept it a secret for a couple of months, only coming upfront about it exclusively with PEOPLE on the 3rd of December 2019.

And in the days to come, they are to showcase their entire romance, from becoming crushes to fiances on the sixth season of My Big Fat Fabulous Life that is promised to premiere on the 7th of January 2020.

In the meantime, Whitney's followers on Instagram have long been introduced to her fiance, a B.S. degree in Accounting and Finance graduate, who once worked as a revenue field auditor at the North Carolina Department of Revenue.
Looking back, it was Ryan Andreas, her business partner at NoBS Active, who introduced Whitney and Chase.
Before, Chase, Whitney dated a few boyfriends and even introduced them to her fans through her reality TV show.
