“Thirty years ago, I was given the opportunity of a lifetime. It is with great disappointment that I have to announce that this is my last TV broadcast on the Weather Channel. I don’t know exactly where I’m going next,” she said. “I am saying goodbye, for now.”
On her departure, the channel also made a statement which was like this,
“Vivian Brown is indeed leaving The Weather Channel. We are grateful for her many contributions during almost 30 years with the network. She is a part of the Weather family, and we wish her all the best.”
One of the top meteorologists, she earned a hefty amount of $53,844 as her salary. Her net worth is estimated to be $550,000.

Brown was born and raised in Greenville, Mississippi by her father, William Brown, a college track coach and mother, Dr. ReJohnna Brown, a college professor.
