American news anchor Victor Blackwell is known for presenting New Day Saturday, and New Day Sunday that airs on CNN Network.

He along with his co-host and guest were talking about a GQ magazine that published an interview with Phil Robertson. In the interview, Phil had made an illogical homosexual comment.
But Victor said that he was not really surprised and hurt because of the comments as he did not expect a positive response from Phil. He also revealed his sexuality and claimed to be a black gay man.
