Samuel Pang, commonly known as Sam was born on 3 November 1973 in Melbourne, Victoria. The 45-year-old stands at an average height of 5 feet and 6 inches (1.67m).
Though Sam holds Australian nationality, he belongs to Chinese ethnicity as he comes from a Chinese family. Sam was raised in Victoria by his parents along with his sibling, a brother named Chuck. He was widely interested in football from his school life. Therefore, he started his career as a football player from his teenage.

Interestingly, Sam was also a part of Australian rules football Under-19 Player for his club Collingwood Football Club in 1991. With his amazing sports skills, Sam got chances to play for the local football in Tasmania and Victoria.

Sam, was never satisfied with his career as a footballer. Because of low fees and odd jobs, he had to give up his budding career.
Afterward, he worked in a bottle shop. But as he knew he was more capable of being more than just a bottle shop attendant, within fourteen years of time, Sam established himself as a renowned radio presenter.
In an interview with news on 18 January 2016, Sam opened up about his journey to success. He said that the primary cause of him starting in radio was because of his friends. Sam’s friends always encouraged him to work as a radio presenter.
So, he started working in a nearby radio station 3CR in Collingwood. His progress as a radio jockey uplifted day by day after Sam got a chance to chat with many celebrities on-air.
His fame elevated after he serves the SBS coverage of The Eurovision Song Contest along with co-host, Julia Zemiro from 2009. After working for the SBS’s coverage for eight long years, the on-air partners bid their final goodbye to their fans in March 2017. During the farewell, Sam said that he was thankful to SBS for giving him the opportunity to explore the world.

Because of his outstanding presenting skills, Sam was called out once to fill the place of Grant Hansen on his absence in his show The Marngrook Footy Show. He hosted the show and got numerous opportunities that led him to become a successful TV presenter just like David Olusoga.

For instance, while hosting for his show back in 2016, Sam offended the guest of his show, Megan Gale. Megan appeared on the show for some awareness on fundraising but was instead embarrassed after Sam jokingly suggested her to grow a mustache for November.
As of now, Sam is best known for presenting the shows Have You Been Paying Attention and The Front Bar. Though his salary remains confined, Sam undoubtedly earns a handsome amount of salary that sums to be an average of Australian 65K dollars.

But, he once gushed about his personal life. On 4 March 2012, Sam revealed to smh.com that he has a daughter named Sienna. He also added that birth of his daughter was one of the happiest moments of his life.

Though Sam did not disclose about his wedding and wife, it is said that he is married to an Italian wife. As he remains silent about his married life, it is unsure if Sam is still married or has already separated from his wife.
However on 5 March 2013, Sam tweeted about his short relationships in life. He also added that his girlfriends don't even exist in his dream. The tweet hinted on his singlehood even after having a daughter.
