Rav Wilding Bio
Rav was born on the 16 October 1977 in Canterbury. He was raised in a family of four siblings. His Mauritian father and English mother were both engaged in the nursing profession, which also inspired Ravi to dedicate his life for the needy.
Ravi attended the Fulston Manor School in Kent. He faced a separation in his family as he moved on alone at the age of 16 to start his independent life. Ravi chose to enter the military at a very young age of 17 and was determined to contribute to the world peace as much as possible. He underwent an apprenticeship before he qualified to join the British Army.
Things didn’t go as planned, and Ravi had to leave the Army right after four years as he faced a severe leg break. He then joined Harrods’ security team, and just as he had wished to accede to the Metropolitan Police Service, he got accepted for training.
Ravi even joined the CID in Britain where he spent his time-solving cases that focused on robbery and burglary.
Rav decided to change his career and chose television to showcase his talents. He went through various interviews and auditions and took formal training as a presenter and got a part on BBC Crimewatch in 2004. He made a big sacrifice and resigned from the police force and continued his career in hosting and presenting.
