Orla Chennaoui is an Irish news reporter and sports anchor for Sky News alongside Vicky Gomersall, Rachel Wyse, and Clare Tomlinson. Besides being a journalist and reporter, Orla also specializes in cycling and the Olympic Games, presenting on location from two Giro d'Italia, two Olympic Games (London and Rio), nine Tours de France, and one Commonwealth Games (Glasgow).
Before working at Sky news, Orla had joined 2 ten FM after her graduation. She also spent two years as a presenter/reporter at Scottish TV, and ten months at Meridian TV in England. She only joined Sky News in 2006 as a correspondent in Northern Ireland. As of now, Orla is an anchor on Sky Sports News, anchoring Sky Sports rugby and cycling.

The sports anchor also co-hosts the monthly cycling podcast, The Cycling Podcast Feminine. Orla launched her podcast 'When Orla Met...' in 2018, where she has a conversation with people from the world of sports about finding inspiration in the pursuit of excellence. Aside from her career as a journalist, Orla also enjoys hosting opportunities like presenting the live cycling at the Asian Indoor & Martial Arts Games in Ashgabat.

Born on 13 November, Orla was raised by her parents in Draperstown in Northern Island alongside her three siblings Karen, Cathal, and Oran. She completed her primary education from St. Mary’s Grammar School in Magherafelt. Later, Orla enrolled in Queen’s University Belfast and Rennes University in France, where she graduated with a degree in Law. Having been interested in Journalism and media since childhood, Orla always knew that she wanted to be a reporter which led her to join the Napier University in Edinburgh and graduate with a degree in Journalism.
Since a young age, Orla was fascinated and inspired by journalists like Orla Guerin, Alex Crawford, and Kate Adie. A fun fact about Orla is that she is a former All-Ireland Triple Jump champion. She also can speak more than four languages including French, Italian, German, Portuguese, and basic Spanish. Gorgeous Orla stands tall at the height of 5 feet 7 inches (1.73 meters).
Husband, Wedding & Divorce
Orla found her knight in shining armor when she was studying Law at Rennes University. She met her now-husband Mourad, a French-Moroccan, who was a scholar there back in time.
They even shared residence in the same tower. The two turned from friends to lovers after they couldn’t deny the connection they had. The details on their wedding are unknown, but it is evident that they tied knots and moved on together towards the path of a beautiful future ahead. This married couple now has three children together.

Orla makes time for her husband and children as soon as she gets time off work. This beautiful duo is much in love, so there’s no sign of them even getting divorced. The family is living a blissful life as of now.
