Co-anchor Nichole was born in 1977 and raised in Lincoln, Nebraska by her parents. Her mother is Audrey Berlie.
She first attended Lincoln High, followed by the University of Nebraska, and bagged a Bachelor’s Degree in Broadcasting with minors in Mathematics, Spanish, and English. During her commencement in 1996, she received a $2K George Foreman Scholarship.

For further studies, she joined the Newhouse School of Journalism at Syracuse University at New York and graduated Masters degree of Broadcast Journalism.

Nichole, age 40, is currently working with WCVB of Boston, the city’s top-rated station and the nation’s eighth-largest market. She works as a weekend co-anchor and reporter alongside Reid Lamberty.
She tells the stories that make Boston alive and portrays the dynamic community. She digs for the hard stories with clarity; explaining the root of the problem and suggesting preventions.

Before working with WCVB, she worked for five years as weekday morning anchor at Hearst’s KETV-7 in Omaha, Nebraska and later joined KSDK in St. Louis where she anchored “Today in St. Louis.” As for her income, she takes home around $72K annually from WCVB.
