Latina anchor-reporter Mayra Moreno is a living proof that determination and hard work always pays. She gained prominence in the journaling field since 2006; after she started working at the Houston airport system as an English correspondent/ Spanish host.
Mayra then moved on to becoming reporter/assistant producer at Rio Grande Valley’s KRGV-TV's Channel 5 News in Weslaco, TX. Talking about her family, her mother and father had to suffer a lot of racism when they came to America from Mexico. Her mother didn't even know a single English word, and stabilizing their family was quite a challenge. So, as a responsible daughter, Mayra started working from a young age to support her family.
And, with her hard work, she made her parents proud. Her father, now, is at the age of 60 whereas her mom is 53.

Mayra Moreno found her husband figure in 2013. She was dating her boyfriend, a former boxer, until he got down on one knee with an engagement ring in September 2016. With a big yes, Mayra turned her boyfriend into her fiance.

Two years after accepting the engagement proposal, Mayra tied the wedding knots with her partner in October 2018. Though she calls herself as a happily married woman, she has not yet shared the identity of her husband for the public.
