Famed anchor Carolyn Clifford was born in 1970 and celebrates her birthday every 18 April.
She was raised as the youngest children out of nine children in the family on the northwest side of Detroit. Carolyn comes from a large family that has more than forty grandchildren.
For her academics, Carolyn went to Michigan State University graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism. Moreover, Carolyn also acquired knowledge of mental toughness in MSU’s Army ROTC.

Carolyn rose to fame after she became a part of WXYZ as an anchor and a health reporter. Later in 2002, she started serving as a regular contributor for the show 7 Action News This Morning and left her job as a health reporter.
Carolyn spent 13 years to inform people of Detroit about the development in medical sciences and its effect on the community. On top of that, she also hosted the multiple-Emmy nominated program named, Health Living Sunday.
Before WXYZ, Carolyn made her contribution for WPGH-TV and WLFL-TV in Raleigh. Well, her achievement is not limited to this, but she also is known for being Emmy award winner for 13 times that includes three awards for being the best news anchor.

Speaking of Carolyn’s married life, she is married to Gregory F. Goss.
The couple shares three kids together; two daughters Airelle and Brooke and a son, James. In addition to this, Carolyn is also stepmom to Alyssa and Gregory Junior, who are Gregory’s children from his first marriage.

Before Gregory, Carolyn tied wedding knots with Frank Taylor, a restaurant owner in Detroit. But their relationship could reach that far as Carolyn and Frank parted their ways with a divorce.

Before the divorce, Carolyn was sued 104K dollars to pay the past due to her husband's restaurant, which might be one of the reasons for her split. However, Carolyn’s attorney said that she had nothing to do with Frank’s business. Moreover, Frank was also liable to pay 180K dollars as the rent.
Carolyn Clifford Undergoes Surgery for Tumor
Her health could not flourish just like her profession as she was diagnosed with a large tumor in early 2018. She noticed an abnormal increment in the size of her belly, which was later found out to be a tumor by doctors.
Carolyn was rushed to the emergency room for operation, only after which she finally recovered.
