At the age of 26, Amber is the first member in her family to turn from dirt racing to asphalt racing. Talking about her education, she graduated from Red River College in Bachelor of Business Administration, Marketing.
Amber's Racing Career
As she was brought up in a family that carried a passion for racing, Amber had it in her blood to rule the racing tracks. With the support of her family, she started racing go-karts at the age of 10 on the dirt tracks of North Dakota. She won several go-karting races and became the youngest racer.
Amber grew up winning multiple races. She was the first female to win a dirt track racing championship in Manitoba.
In 2014, she looked her dream in the face and drove the 410 Outlaw Sprint car. She raced for Apex SpeedSports in the Northern Outlaw Sprint Association and crowned herself as Rookie Of The Year.
Her passion, talent, professionalism, and marketability led her to become one of the participants in the NASCAR Driver for Diversity program. She became the first Canadian female to win the NASCAR sanctioned race in the USA.
Besides racing, she has also established herself as an entrepreneur; she runs her company, Amber Balcaen Racing Inc, serving as the president. Moreover, she entered the media line as a TV personality on News Rising.
