Mother Tries To Gear Up Son’s Love-Life!

Back in January 2018, Samuel’s two-time Oscar-winning mother attempted to set him up with the openly gay Olympian Adam Rippon.

The 30-year-old director, Samuel, had a crush on Rippon, who bagged a bronze medal for Team USA at the Pyeongchang Winter Olympics 2018.

Samuel told his mom about the famous Olympian, Adam. Even his mom, Sally wanted her son to date Adam and tried to partner them.

After his mom’s intention to partner him up with the dashing Olympian via Twitter, Samuel immediately apologized for the embarrassing set-up. He further tweeted stating that he had nothing but massive respect for his Olympic prince.

On top of that, Adam also responded by stating he admires Sam's mum and is thankful to her. Adam also added he will meet Samuel someday.

Seems like both son and mom were trying really hard for Adam as Samuel posted a tweet regarding his conversation with his mom on 16 February 2018. In the Tweet, Sally said Samuel that Adam is pretty and advised him to find a way.

Samuel also appreciated Rippon’s openness about his sexual orientation in public and felt moved by the fact that he featured proudly as a gay at the Olympics. His exact words were,

“I hate being earnest but an openly, ‘non-passing’, sassy, beautiful gay 20-something daring America not to love him and becoming the sweetheart of the Olympics Games is very moving to me.”

Furthermore, Adam broke his silence on the whole set-up saga and stated that he loved Sally Field (Samuel’s mom) because everyone loves Sally Field. And when asked whether he went on a date with Samuel, he gestured "no" by stating that he had been busy after the Olympics.
