In 1984, Geena Rocero, now age 35, was born as a boy. She spent her childhood in Manila, Phillippines with a working-class family.

Later at age 17, she immigrated to San Franciso, California, and again moved to New York City where she officially became a citizen of U. S.
At the age of 19, Genna did surgery to become a woman. She became a hot topic in the media when people knew about her surgery. She took a great decision to reveal her sexuality in front of the people.
Came Out As Transgender
Rocero is a gem in the modeling industry. She began taking part in beauty pageants competition at the age of 15. A fashion photographer discovered her in a restaurant. NEXT Model Management signed her at such a young age of 21. She amazingly spent 12 years modeling for swimsuits and beauty editorials and gained a huge fan base since then.
But before coming out, she did not tell her agent or anyone in the industry, and for several years, she worked as a successful model. But in her mind, she always knew she needed to come out and represent her true self.
Finally, after she came out as a transgender, she fought for her right and never let anyone let her down.

Geena is the founder of an organization she believes adds value to the lives of individuals. She founded Gender Proud. It is an advocacy and aid group. She uses the team as some figure that stands up for the rights of transgender people around the globe.
They promote the rights to ‘self-identity with the fewest possible barriers.' She actively worked in this industry since 2002. She never regretted getting into this industry ever. She came out as transgender in March of 2014. It was on the International Transgender Day of Visibility.
Because of her hard work and belief in herself, she has made herself financially stable and might have made net worth in a million.
