Finally, in July 2001, Amy and the NBA star Tim Duncan shared their wedding vows. Four years later, she and her husband got blessed with their first baby daughter, Sydney, in the summer of 2005. The family of three welcomed their fourth member named Draven in 2007.

But, the pair couldn't make their marriage work and filed for the divorce in March 2013 in Bexar County District Court. Later, it was also acknowledged that Amy was the one to proceed with a divorce, citing their marriage was "insupportable because of discord and conflict." Moreover, she also moved out of the couple's house by April.
According to International Business Times, the conflict arose between the two when Tim suspected Amy of cheating on him, as early as 2012 fall. The basketball star reportedly had hired a private investigator to look after his wife's behavior.

He is also the only player in history to be selected to both All-NBA and All-Defensive during each of his first 13 seasons. Tim started playing basketball only during his freshman year of high school. Before that, he dreamt of being an Olympic-level swimmer. So, with the support of his family, he became an excellent swimmer to make it to the 1992 Olympic Games. But his dream faded away when Hurricane Hugo destroyed his hometown's only Olympic sized swimming pool in 1989.
