Eduardo Perez is a former baseball player turned coach who earned widespread limelight after being an analyst for ESPN's show, Baseball Tonight.
As a baseball player, he served for numerous teams in the 13 seasons (1993 to 2006) that he played in the Major League Baseball (MLB). Likewise, for his excellent coaching in the Puerto Rico Baseball League, he was even named as the Manager of the Year in 2008.
Upon his retirement from the in-field service, he joined the off-field service and stared to work for the ESPN as a baseball analyst. While serving for the ESPN, he gained many admirers as well as supporters through his good work.

He was born on 11th September 1969 in Cincinnati, Ohio, the USA. His birth name is Eduardo Atanacio Perez. His father, Tony Perez, a Hall of Famer, is also a former baseball player. Similarly, he has an older brother named Victor Pérez, a minor leaguer.
As most of his family members were involved in the field of baseball, there comes no surprise on how Eduardo became interested in baseball.
For his education, Eduardo first studied at the Robinson School, Puerto Rico. To complete his college studies, he got enrolled at Florida State University. Later, he graduated with a degree in political science.

The duo first got blessed with a baby in 2003 when they welcomed a daughter named Andreanna. After a gap of three years, in 2006, the couple again got the chance to celebrate as they were again blessed with a daughter named Juliana.
The bond between the duo tightened up when they shared the wedding vows on 29th December 2000. After that, the happily married pair started to live life very peacefully as they reside in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
Eduardo’s Career
Eduardo Perez was very interested in baseball since his childhood. He used to play baseball during his free time. In his high school days, he even became the team member of the school's baseball team.

As time passed on, his passion for baseball grew even more and more. Finally, in 1991, his dream came true when he got drafted by the California Angels in the first round, 17th overall, in the MLB Draft.
After that, he started to showcase his talents and skills and played for many teams such as St. Louis Cardinals, Cincinnati Reds, Tampa Bay Rays, and Clev
eland Indians. But, he reached his career-best figure of home runs (16), RBI (52) and games (106) in 1997 while playing for the Cincinnati Reds team.
Sadly, Eduardo retired from professional baseball in 2006 and worked as an analyst till 2010. During 2011-12, he served as a hitting coach of the Miami Marlins whereas, in 2013, he trained the Houston Astros team as a bench coach.
After spending some brief time in coaching, he again began the job of as an ESPN analyst. Further, on 10th December 2019, Eduardo again signed a Multi-Year Extension Contract with the ESPN.
