Ian Midlane is a British actor known for his performances in numerous movies and TV series. He came into the limelight through recurring appearances as Dr. Al Haskey / Scrooge / Brian Flannery in the reality TV show entitled Doctors. In 2005, he became an honorable cast member of the show, Doctors, and since then, he has been credited in more than 900 episodes of the show.

He is also recognized for his role as Jeffrey in 2007’s TV Series titled The Sarah Jane Adventures and as Derek in 2009’s TV Mini-Series named Hunter.

Apart from acting, he has also helped as a writer (in three episodes) and as a soundtrack member (in two episodes) for the TV series, Doctors.

Ian Midlane started his journey to the entertainment industry from his childhood. After a lot of hard work and auditions, he finally got his first role. In 2004, he appeared as a fire officer in his debut TV series named The Last Detective.

Following that role, he played in two other TV series of 2014, which were Manhunt (as William Beggs) and My Dad's the Prime Minister (as a policeman).
