Born on 20 May 1966 in Mountain View, California, USA, ESPN host Stephania Bell garnered her education in French Literature from Princeton University in 1987 and worked in the athletic training department during her time there.
Later, she earned a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Miami. And from the Ola Grimsby Institute, she received a certificate in orthopedic manual therapy.
Before joining ESPN, the host worked for Kaiser Permanente in San Jose, California and taught at the Kaiser Permanente Northern California Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy Fellowship. She worked at the University of Kansas and Samuel Merritt College in a teaching position for some years. Stephania also worked as a consultant for athletes and performing artists with complex conditions.
Talking about her family, the 53-year-old is the daughter of a former boxer, who served during the Korean War. Even at the age of 87, the veteran boxer is fit and active, and Stephania goes on hiking or to the boxing ring and many other places with her father.
