Jummy works as an anchor and reporter at NBC 4 New York's 6 p.m. and 11 p.m. weekend newscasts. She also covers the breaking news around the Tri-State areas as a general assignment reporter.
Jummy began her journalism career in 2005 when she started her internship at NBC Universal. Eventually, she landed at CNN and started her professional work as a news assistant.
After that, she also served at WCAV-TV as a reporter, at WTKR-TV as a reporter as well, and adjunct professor at Marymount University.
Most recently, Jummy served as a co-anchor for Good Morning Washington and News at Noon on Washington, D.C.'s WJLA-TV. Then, she made her return for NBC 4 to cover the shooting of House Majority Whip Steve Scalise and reporting directly from the crime scene.
