Alyana Gomez channeled her passion for news writing and storytelling into her career in journalism and broadcasting. From a young age, she had her sights set upon working in front of the camera.
The Emmy-Award winner has experienced almost everything from covering dreadful tornadoes to high profile murder trials. As for now, she is an integral part of the Action News Team on KTVU.

Soon after graduating from her formal education, she made a jump into her professional career. She completed her bachelor’s degree in Journalism at Salisbury University in 2010.
The newbie started reporting on several topics, and eventually, she got lucky to be announced as the recipient of five Associated Press awards for Enterprise reporting, spot news, and in-depth coverage.
Even more motivated than before, Alyana went on to become the part of big platforms like Action News Jax, WMDT 47 NEWS ABC, Cox Media Group, NBC Connecticut, finally landing in KTVU.
At KTVU, her average salary as an anchor and reporter is estimated to be $42K.

Today, the happily married couple lead their married life in Oakland, California raising their two children- a boy named, Weston and the youngest one, a beautiful daughter, Mila Jade Gonzalez, born few days before the Valentines Day on 12 February 2018.
