English journalist and documentary filmmaker Billie JD Porter began her career as a music writer during her school days. Then, she began fronting some of the new video content at Vice, appearing on the magazine's websites such as Rose Boy and Friends and Drunken Glory.
Once, Billie claimed that men twice her age regularly pilled her with drugs in her drinks at Vice. She was also asked to perform sex acts on one of her male bosses. Due to abuse at the workplace, Billie was triggered with an enormous amount of stress and anxiety. Later, Billie made those claims on Channel 4.
At the age of eighteen, Billie made her breakthrough as a TV presenter on Channel 4's controversial factual entertainment series, The Joy of Teen Sex.
Working from such a young age, Billie got recognized as one of the youngest reporters, reporting for Channel 4 News.
She has already reached the height of success, marking her name at the station. Besides her journalism career, she has also campaigned against Brexit, forming an initiative around youth engagement in politics with Use Your Voice.
