American actor Trevante Rhodes marked his presence in the movie industry with his praise-worthy portrayal of American-homosexual character, Chiron in Academy Oscar-winning drama flick Moonlight

Trevante Rhodes also impressed everyone with his role in the 2018 Netflix Thriller, Bird Box, which was a massive box office hit. In addition, he also won the votes and won the title of the sexiest man of 2018, by beating Idris Elba, Michael B. Jordan, and Jason Mamoa. This man is going places, people!

Before initiating his career in acting, Rhodes served as a track and field sprinter. Since his impressive role in the movie, Trevante regularly provided his expertise on gay situation fuming in the context of the United States. His activeness regarding homosexuality brought rumors about him being gay.

He presented his feelings on romanticism and clarified that he was attracted to only women. 

"I was born loving women but I easily could have been born loving men. It’s the exact same sensation… You don’t fall in love with someone [just] for their physical [traits], but for their mental."

Trevante's statement proved that he is straight. Moreover, it implied that he is someone, who falls in love with other's mentality rather than physical appearance.

Although Trevante is straight, he understood the hard times faced by his gay friends in the United States. He also expressed the real bitterness in his statement on and disclosed that his movie, Moonlight can change people's perception of gay people. 

“Being a black person in America right now is shit, being a homosexual in America right now is shit, and being a black homosexual is the bottom for certain people. That’s why I’m so excited for people to see Moonlight. I don’t feel like there’s a solution for our problems, but this movie might change people.”

Being married or not, Rhodes always happens to be a thoughtful and caring person relating to every matter. He has shown his kindness towards the suffering people and also has attracted a lot of female fandoms, who are willing to be his lawful wife.

But, he is yet to find a perfect girlfriend to get married and build a family.

Trevante Rhodes was born as Trevante Nemour Rhodes on 10 February 1990. He grew up in Ponchatoula, Louisiana before moving to Little Elm, Texas at the age of 10.

Since his days at Little Elm High School, Rhodes was enthused by track and field sport.

Subsequently, he competed as a sprinter in the 100 and 200-meter dash. Later in 209, Trevante helped his U.S. team bag a gold medal in the 4x100 meters relay at the Pan American Junior Athletics Championship in Trinidad and Tobago. 

He believes in waking up early and recently revealed in an interview that he wakes up at 4: 30 am every day. He starts his day by meditating, working out in the gym and then running a few miles. It is very tempting to stay in bed beyond one's bedtime, and it is not any different for Trevante.
