Sonia Deol is an English radio and television presenter of Indian descent who was born in 1973 in Birmingham, United Kingdom. She grew up in England with her father Baldev Sidhu and mother whose identity is not yet revealed.
Sonia completed her graduation from the University of Hertfordshire in 1994 with a Bachelor's in Arts. After graduation, she began her career and started to work at Sunrise radio station from 1994.
Later, she joined BBC London as presenter and newsreader. Afterward, she began to work at Asian Network Radio XL as the presenter of program Mid-morning show. From 2002 to 2006 she joined the BBC Asian Network from where she presented the program, Sonia Deol Show.
