Shelagh Fogarty is a renowned journalist and television presenter who started her career as a trainee in BBC in 1994, the same year in which she joined Radio 4; a BBC owned radio station. Soon after quitting Radio 4 and going freelance in 1999, Fogarty joined Radio 5 where she rose to prominence by hosting Weekend Breakfast and Breakfast with Nick Campbell. Fogarty earned her high school degree from Mary Help of Christians R.C. High School in Croxteth which is run by Salesian Sisters of Don Bosco and graduated from Durham University with French and Spanish majors in 1988.
