Joe Paterno, former football coach, knew the wrong deeds of the Sandusky but he never tried to contact the authorities.

Sara was the first reporter who broke out the news that Sandusky was under investigation for allegedly molesting boys. The Patriot-News published her article reporting that a grand jury was investigating child abuse accusations against Jerry.

On 9 October 2012, Jerry Sandusky was sentenced to life imprisonment for a minimum of thirty years and also ended the reign of Joe Paterno at Penn State.
