Megan Colarossi started her career just after finishing her graduation in 1997, as she joined the CNN team as a Line producer, segment producer, series producer (long & short format), and writer. But, she left the CNN team in December 2001.

Following that, she joined various organizations which include Viacom in New York ( from January 2002 to June 2007), SoulCycle Incorporation (from June 2007 to May 2008), NBC News (from February 2013 to August 2015), and NBC Universal Media (from August 2015 to August 2016).

In October 2016, Megan joined A+E Networks as a host of the show called The Way Home. However, she left A+E Networks after four months of service in January 2017.
