Mary Nickles Bio, Age & Family
Born in Renton, Washington in a large family, Mary Nickles celebrates her birthday every 14 December according to her bio. She was raised by her telephone repairer father and state legislator mother alongside eight siblings. Her father was also a veteran in World War II. At the age of 94, Mary's father is still active, and often makes appearances on Mary's social media sites.

Even though Mary hasn't revealed much about her late mother, it is evident that her mother played a significant role in molding Mary's career.

Mary was a bright student at a young age. She has a degree in English from Lewis-Clark State College in Lewiston, Idaho. Apart from Journalism and academics, Mary is also an avid admirer of Volleyball. She worked as a Volleyball Coach for sometime before entering the media industry.
She stands at an attractive height of 5 feet 11 inches (1.80 meters).
Married / Husband
Mary Nickles is one of the lucky people to have found love at a young age and kept it for a long time. There is no information about where and how Cupid struck Mary and her lover, but the couple got married on 12 September 1990. Mary Nickles is married to her husband Kent Nickles, who played youth ball with the Stottlemyers in Yakima.
After seven years of marriage, Mary and her husband welcomed two twin babies, a boy, and a girl in February of 1997. Now, the twins have grown and are studying in college.

Little did they know that their happiness would get caught in the storm. In 2012, Mary Nickles was diagnosed with breast cancer. She had a lumpectomy, stage one, 1.3 centimeters, grade 3 invasive, triple negative. Mary was treated with chemotherapy and radiation for about a year which caused hair loss and many other reactions.
Today, Mary cannot thank her husband and her children enough for their support and celebrates her battle against the monstrous disease. She consistently posts pictures and talks about how she won the battle in her posts and blogs.

Now, cancer-free Mary lives a happy life with her husband and children in Utah, USA. She regularly posts about her children and her husband on social media.

Mary Nickles joined KUTV in 1991 as a reporter and an anchor. Since then, she has been anchoring 2News This Morning. Mary also anchors the news from 5:00 am to 8:00 am every weekend. She occasionally anchors 2News at Noon with Ron Bird. In 2016, she celebrated her silver Jubilee with KUTV after being a news hostess for 25 years.
