Mark Rivera's Wife, Married
When it comes to Mark's married life, the story is more than just adorable. He dated his girlfriend, Alissa Marie Groeninger for three years before getting down on one knee in December 2012. He invited her to his show to surprise Alissa with the proposal. When the show started, and the cameras started rolling, Mark said,
I know you thought you were here to be asked a lot of different questions... but really I only have one question to ask you... Will you marry me?
Alissa didn't waste a moment to jump out of her chair and say yes as she threw her arms around him.

Mark has already been married to his wife for four years after exchanging wedding vows on 10 May 2014. The two are relishing their married life. They haven't hinted anything on their possible addition to the family.

Mark joined the ABC 7 Eyewitness News Team as weekend morning news anchor and reporter in December 2017. With his versatile and skillful anchoring style, he impressed the Vice President of the station, Jennifer Graves.

He heightened his career by covering and reporting everything from big breaking news stories to political and featured stories. His first covered live story was the funeral and procession of the slain police commander, Paul Bauer in 2018.
Before joining ABC7, he worked at WDWS as a reporter and anchor. He also served at Illini Media as an on-air managing editor and web producer. Then, Mark worked as a morning anchor and reporter for WAND-TV in Decatur, Illinois. He anchored daily newscast for two hours and reported breaking news. He also wrote, edited and published a weekly feature focusing on the local community.
After that, Mark moved to Tampa, Florida to serve as the station’s weekend morning news anchor and political reporter at WTSP-TV. There, he provided six hours of compelling non-stop coverage of the Pulse Nightclub shooting in Orlando. The reporter also covered Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton campaign rallies, and wide ranges of stories from the hurricanes that devastated Florida to a family whose son is a 5-organ transplant survivor.
His talent was even recognized and honored by the city and its residents, that led him to win a regional Associated Press Award. As an ABC 7 reporter, Mark earns an average salary of $54K on an annual basis.

Mark Rivera was born and raised in Plantation, Florida as the only child of his parents. He celebrates his birthday on 18 February every year but keeps his age to himself. As per his bio, Mark is the son of Marine Bob. However, he has not given any information on his mother.
