Since August 2017, weather forecaster Lucy Verasamy has been stealing many viewer`s hearts with her alluring beauty and impressive skills in Good Morning Britain.
Well, Lucy has been in the TV world for over thirteen years. She initiated her career from Sky News and 5 News in 2005 and eventually moved over to the ITV network as a forecaster.
Lucy Verasamy’s Bio, Career
Lucy was born on 2 August 1980 in King’s Lynn, Norfolk, England. She, who holds British nationality and belongs to white ethnicity, has one brother in her family.
40-year-old Lucy attended King Edward VII School in King's Lynn and studied A-Level Geography. She graduated with a BSc. (Hons) degree in Geography from Brunel University in 2001.
After graduation, Lucy worked at the Press Association’s weather center for four years as a forecaster, writing forecasts for newspapers and scripts for radio.
Lucy, who stands at the height of 5’5’’ tall (165.1 cm), later joined Sky News and served as the regular weather presenter on the Sky News breakfast show Sunrise while Chris Kenny served as the host of the twice-weekly Sky News Australia program Viewpoint.
She also contributed to Sky News's The Weather Girls blog.
On September 2010, Lucy joined the newly launched ITV Breakfast program Daybreak as a weather forecaster and environment correspondent, while Geraint Vincent served as a proactive reporter for ITV News.
However, in August 2012, she left the program and fronted the national weather forecasts for ITV, where she bagged the salary of $34K.
In 2017, she became part of the ITV Racing team as a weather expert.
