She married Tom Ellerbee in 1975 and ended up getting divorced in 1983. The same thing happened with her marriage with Tom Ellerbee which lasted fro 30 June 1973 to 31 July 1975. After her divorce with Tom, Linda ended up marrying Van Kenneth Veselka on 7 March 1968. She then joined another show NC Nightly News, which she continued until 982. After resigning from NC Nightly News, Linda reported for NBC News Overnight till 1984. Linda along with her passion for journalism and reporting loves writing too. In the year 1986, she wrote and published a book called, And So It Goes: Adventures in Television.
