After graduation, she went to Fresco, California, as a meteorologist at KMPH and later worked for KFSN as a weekend meteorologist. In a short while, Feldman became the station’s top-rated morning show news anchor.
After few years of enhancing her forecasting and broadcasting skills, Feldman was promoted to WTVD based in North Carolina. During her five years of service at WTVD as a Chief Meteorologist covering bizarre weather conditions such as a tornado, ice storm, and several hurricanes.
