Jeremy Ford was born on 25 April 1987, in Jacksonville, Florida. He had a great affection for food, and with the hopes of making it as a career, Jeremy completed his culinary education.
Ford initiated his career in the culinary industry at the age of 16 serving as Grade Manager at Matthews, a four-diamond Mediterranean style restaurant. During his one-year stint at Matthews, Jeremy learned the essential skill of mincing vegetables.
Subsequently, Ford joined the world-renowned restaurant L’Orangerie in Los Angeles under the supervision of Executive Chef Christopher Eme. Despite failing to speak French in an all-French kitchen, Jeremy absorbed his skills by watching how the culinary team handled the exceptional ingredients, and how they filleted the fish with care.
The career high for emerging Chef Jeremy Ford came when he bagged the first place in the Bravo TV’s competition, Top Chef Season 13 in 2015. Jeremy exhibited his alluring culinary skills and ranked top beating 16 other contestants.
After gaining popularity as a reality show winner, Ford moved on to work with Master Chef Joachim Splichal at Patina and grabbed the position of Executive Chef at Matador Room by Jean-Georges.
Jeremy Ford made his most significant leap since the Top Chef title with the opening of two new Miami restaurants: Stubborn Seed and Afishonado. Stubborn Seed opened up in early September 2017, while Afishonado is due for 2018.

Jeremy Ford has a remarkable married life as the father of his two beautiful daughters; Madelynn and Lucianna. His elder daughter, Madelyn, is 11-years-old and was raised by Ford as a single father until he shared a blissful togetherness with Maria Carmelina.
