Emmy nominated news correspondent, David Begnaud's fame rose higher after he joined the CBS News in 2015. Previously famous for appearing in the KLA-TV as one of the most notable reporters, he has now been covering news across the globe.
He worked for KLFY-TV right out of high school. After that, he went to Shreveport and then worked for KLFA-TV for a year and a half.
Then, he traveled to places to work in different channels and companies; he worked for CBS in Sacramento for three years and then he moved to KLTA as a reporter. At ORA-TV, he worked as a Los Angeles- based news reporter as a News breaker.
Finally, in August 2015, he joined CBS News as a Miami-based correspondent. Since then, he has covered and broadcasted many breaking news and reports around the country and around the globe, some of the notable ones include the deadliest shooting in US history at Pulse Night Club, Florida.
One of his most famous work include is his coverage of Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico, Hurricane Harvey in Texas and Hurricane Irma in Florida. His coverage there includes in-depth reporting which got him an Emmy nomination. And even got a lot of appreciation and praise from the people.
Later, he moved to New York and worked as a correspondent for CBS News. There also he continued to cover the report with the same intensity and dedication he had shown since the beginning of his career.
