Dan Dotson Death Rumor

In 2014, Dan suffered a major life-threatening health condition. And, all of a sudden, he underwent a double brain aneurysm, also known as hemorrhagic stroke. He was rushed to the hospital immediately by his family. But, the doctor announced unsettling news saying the chances of survival for Dotson were minimum. But odds were in his favor, and luckily after emergency surgery, he survived the illness and eventually recovered from the disease. 

Following the life-threatening incident, Dotson was rumored to be dead. In fact, his death rumors fueled up when a Storage Wars' frequent buyer, Mark Balelo, was found dead in his apartment, reported as a suicide. But, the rumor is entirely false, and Dotson lives his cherished life with his family and loved ones in the California home.

The auctioneer was born on 23 November 1962 in California. When he was merely at the age of 11, his grandfather, Sam Fancher, a farm and cattle auctioneer in the Ozark Mountains of Northwest Arkansas, taught him about auctioneering. Dan started working with his grandfather in the auctioneering field whenever he was on holiday.

Eventually, the passion for auctioneering business gripped his mind, and he began skipping school and traveled to the Chino auction in California to sell furniture.

Dotson officially ventured into the auctioneering business in the year 1974. Then in the year 1980s and 1990s, he established an auction house, which specialized in pottery, dolls, collectibles, porcelain, furniture. Interestingly, he has now expanded his business with his wife. Their company American Auctioneers performs three thousand auctions every year.

So, with the increase of business, it is clear that Dan earns a hefty sum of net worth. According to a source report, the auctioneer has amassed a total net worth of 4.5 million dollars. The auctioneer couple lives in a lavish house of 3,171 square foot, in Yucaipa, California.
