Television personality Araksya Karapetyan is an American news anchor and journalist, who reports for KTTV FOX11’s Good Day L.A show, beginning at 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m alongside co-reporter Tony McEwing. She has been working with FOX 11 team since March 2012.

Before working at FOX 11, she served her duty as a reporter and host for several media houses like KOIN-TV in Portland, Oregon; KABC-TV in Los Angeles; and  KFI 640 AM radio in Burbank.

Moreover, Araksya is also the recipient of the Pan-Armenian Entertainment Awards for her valuable contribution as a television person.

Araksya Karapetyan is married to Amir Yousef. The two tied the knot in 2012 in Los Angeles, California, United States.

The two first met through their mutual friends in their hometown, Palos Verdes, California. They eventually started liking each other and decided to be in a relationship.

Additionally, Araksya and her now-husband, who comes from a Persian background, even managed a long-distance relationship—Amir lived in California. On the other hand, Araksya moved to New York for her college and again shifted to Idaho and Oregon to pursue her journalism career.

In the end, they came together and arranged a grand wedding—the wedding ceremony was held outdoors underneath a candlelit tree; the reception venue was at the magical Taglyan Complex, and the wedding’s theme color was kept to a classic white.

Children

Now, Araksya Karapetyan and her husband Amir Yousef are parents of two daughters: Sevan and Sona. Her first daughter, Sevan, was born on 6 June 2016, whereas her second baby, Sona, was born on 23 April 2019.
