The name Ade Adepitan has become a synonym for the word inspiration. This is primarily because he has created his identity as a wheelchair basketball player. Despite being a physically challenged person, he hasn’t let his disability to be an obstacle in his life. Today, even though he is confined to the wheelchair, he plays basketball as a professional from his club Milton Keynes Aces. Back in 2004, he as a member of Great Britain team won the bronze medal at Summer Paralympics in Athens. Also in 2005, the gold medal was theirs at Paralympic World Cup in Manchester, UK.
He has not set himself as a player only because apart from his games, he also has his hands in media. He uses his television presence to campaign against racism and disability discrimination. He was chosen as one of the main presenters on Channel 4 for London 2012 Paralympic Games. In 2014, he presented the show called The Travel Show on BBC. And in 2016, he co-presented BBC’s New York: America’s Busiest City.
Regardless of being disabled, he was able to sustain his professional and personal life economically on his own. So his career graph is heading towards the right direction, and due to this, it can be said that he owns an impressive net worth.

Ade Adepitan, age 45, is happily married, Linda Harrison. She is a singer who performs under the stage name Elle Exxe, in the quire of St Paul's. His married date was initially fixed in 2017 around August but got postponed when Linda was invited to perform at V Festival. However, this on 11 August 2018 his dream came true when he took his wedding vows with his longtime girlfriend Linda in St Paul's Cathedral, the same place Prince Charles married Diana, Princess of Wales in 19881. Ade got the right to marry at the cathedral by disability sport.

He feels very blessed to have a loving wife who supports him in every step of his life. He and his wife are relishing the marital bliss and look very happy together and soon start a family with more member.

Ade Adepitan bio reveals that he was born on 27 March 1973 in Maryland, Lagos, Nigeria. When he was six months old, he was contracted with polio due to which he lost function of his left leg ultimately prevented him from walking. When he and his mother lived in Nigeria, his father was in London. His mother emigrated with him to the United Kingdom to live with her husband.

He attended Southern Road Primary School where he got lots of help for his disability and home problems. With the young age, he was inspired to become an international sportsman and eventually he joined Lister Community School.
