Adam Serwer was born in 1982 in Chevy Chase, Maryland. The 37-year-old journalist has not revealed his height yet.
He is one of the two sons born to Daniel Serwer and Jacquelyn Serwer. He grew up in Washington, D.C. with his brother, Jared Serwer, in a small family.
Adam’s father, Daniel Serwer, is a professor at John Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies and a scholar at the Middle East Institute. He has also worked at the United States Institute of Peace in D.C.
His mother is the Chief Curator at the National Museum of African American History and Culture. Previously, she served as Chief Curator of the Corcoran Gallery for seven years since 1999.

His parents met each other at Haverford College, where both of them were classmates.
They fell in love with each other but faced a problem when they decided to marry. The problem was there were no rabbis, religious teachers of Jews, to perform their marriage ritual since interfaith marriage was barely accepted.
But somehow, they arranged a rabbi for their wedding and got married in 1968.
Since Adam's parents were highly educated persons, both with doctoral degrees, Adam benefitted from it.
