Jamie Hersch, age 31, was born 25 May 1987 in Champlin, Minnesota. She was raised in her hometown by her parents, Candy Hersch and James Hersch.
At her young age, Jamie generated a lot of interest in music as her father was a singer and songwriter. Besides, she received a massive encouragement from her dad, which led her to perform duets alongside her father in different occasions.
Jamie attended the University of Southern California in 2005. There, she became involved with various on-campus associations, including the Annenberg TW News. Besides, she also worked as a student ambassador and played volleyball, coaching a local team of young girls.
Jamie’s Professional Career:
Jamie’s love towards sports journalism grew with the time as she started watching sports alongside her family at early days. Before her graduation with a BA degree in broadcast journalism, Jamie joined as an intern at WCCO-TV in 2007.
After a while, she moved to WKOW-TV in Madison, Wisconsin in August 2009. There she served as a weekend anchor and a multimedia journalist. Subsequently, she bagged a promotion as a weekend sports anchor and full-time reporter in January 2011.
With the new position, Jamie covered the major sports events, such as the 2011 and 2012 Rose Bowl and the Super Bowl XLV.
Later in February 2013, she joined the FOX Sports team and served as a studio hosts and sideline reporter, covering local hockey and baseball games. Furthermore, Jamie took her second job with the Big Ten Network as a football and hockey reporter in September 2015.

After a while, Jamie moved to New York and began working for the NHL Network, which took her sports journalism to a new height. She currently hosts On the Fly, a post-game recap show for the network. Jamie and Matt took their relationship to the next level after getting engaged in 2011. Later that year, the day arrived when the couple decided to go further more than the engagement rings; the marriage knots.

On 15 June 2018, Jamie and Matt celebrated their 6th wedding anniversary. To make the day more special, Jamie uploaded a beautiful picture of their wedding on her Instagram account and stated that he made the best decision of her life six years ago by marrying Matt.
Besides, she also thanked her husband for keeping her blushing and adventuring every passing day.
The social media posts of Jamie make it apparent that she is enjoying her life blissfully with her other half.
