Fran Tarkenton is a former American football player who gained fame by playing in the National Football League (NFL) as a quarterback. He spent his entire 18 seasons of his NFL career playing for the Minnesota Vikings and New York Giants.
In his career, he became the nine-time Pro Bowl selection plus marked his name as the NFL MVP in 1975. Moreover, by the time he retired from the NFL, he held every main quarterback record; was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1986.
