Former British tennis player, Dan Lobb was born on 7 January 1972 in Hampshire, England. He resided in Winchester with his family.
For his academics, Dan attended Peter Symonds College and studied Science.
Since his early days, Dan was highly interested in tennis. Therefore, to turn his passion into a fruitful career, he went to the University of Tennessee with a scholarship for tennis. While earning his high honors from the University, Dan was entitled with All-American for tennis.
Then, he started playing professionally in 1994; making a remarkable mark in the field for three years. After retiring from his sports career in 1998, Dan served as a coach for three more years and later began his broadcasting career.

He joined 5 News before he signed a contract with Sky Sports News. Since January 2002, he served as a sports broadcaster in Sky Sports and reached a prominent heights of success.
After serving the network for nearly eight years, Dan started working for GMTV in early 2010. Starting as a Sports Editor at Daybreak, Dan later got promoted to being the main presenter in December 2011.
Well, his journey for the channel ended in 2012 after Aled Jones replaced him. Since June 2015, he has been serving as a host and an active BBC commentator.
Apart from his dedication in journalism, Dan also competed as a dancing celebrity in the show Strictly Come Dancing in 2011. As a television presenter like Toby Anstis with a handful of experience, Dan makes an average salary of 59K dollars.

According to the reports of Answers.com in 2013, Dan stated that he had been dating his then-new girlfriend, Rachel Ditchburn for last three months. In addition to this, the handsome personality was also seen timely with his lady attending various events.
