American musician Keriston Jamal Lewis was born on 12 February 1971 in Minnesota. He holds American nationality. As per his bio, Keri developed his passion for music from the young age and started playing a keyboard.
He got a chance to join R&B band named Mint Condition as a pianist in 1980. But after a while, the group split, and Keri began his journey as a solo artist. He composed, co-wrote, and produced numerous songs and worked with several artists including his ex-wife Toni Braxton. He debuted his first solo album named Love after he left Mint Condition. Some of his hit albums include You Love Me, Send Me Nothing and Breaking My Heart.

Keri met Toni Braxton, an American singer, songwriter, and TV personality during his band Mint Condition tour. Shortly after his meeting, he became a good friend with the beauty with Afro-American ethnicity and started developing feelings for her. Keri took the initiative and the duo soon began dating.

Keri's and Toni's husband and wife relation soon turned into parents when they welcomed their first child named Denim Cole Braxton-Lewis in 2001. He felt blessed to have a loving wife and son, and soon his happiness got doubled when he got a chance to be a father for the second time.
He welcomed his second son named Diezel Ky Braxton-Lewis in March 2003. Sadly his younger son was diagnosed with autism. Later, his wife Toni announced that their younger was no longer autistic. His elder son is now 17 years old, and his younger son is at the age of 15.
Keri Lewis' Divorce
Keri had a wonderful life with Toni Braxton such that no one ever thought it would abruptly come to an end. But, proving the odds, Keri decided to end his twelve years of marriage. In 2010, he started living apart from Toni, and they finalized their divorce in 2013 with alimony and joint custody of their two sons.

After the years of split, Keri's former wife, Toni gushed about their broken marriage in an episode of Red Table Talk in December 2018. She reasoned that her disastrous marriage was because of Keri's carelessness. She stated that their divorce was over money and her Lupus diagnosis. However, Keri could not resist himself on denying the accusations.
I really loved Toni!…Anyone who was around during that time of our marriage would attest to that. In addition, when she became ill, I did everything I could to take care of her, and we tried for a long time to put things back together, but in the end, we could not. I didn’t even use an attorney in our divorce.
Through his Instagram post, he stated; he was always there for her in her good as well as bad times. He was not the one to settle the divorce upon the attorney, but Toni was the one who hired the attorney to settle the divorce.
Keri Has New Wife?
Since the divorce with Toni, Keri, age 49, stayed out of media. He has not yet been linked with any other partner. He perhaps is busy with his career as he is enjoying his single life and his work. He seems to be in no hurry to get a new wife.
On the other hand, his ex-wife has moved on with Birdman. She married him in late 2018 via a secret wedding.
