American musician Keriston Jamal Lewis was born on 12 February 1971 in Minnesota. He holds American nationality. As per his bio, Keri developed his passion for music from the young age and started playing a keyboard.
He got a chance to join R&B band named Mint Condition as a pianist in 1980. But after a while, the group split, and Keri began his journey as a solo artist. Keri met Toni Braxton, an American singer, songwriter, and TV personality during his band Mint Condition tour. Shortly after his meeting, he became a good friend with the beauty with Afro-American ethnicity and started developing feelings for her. Keri took the initiative and the duo soon began dating.

Keri's and Toni's husband and wife relation soon turned into parents when they welcomed their first child named Denim Cole Braxton-Lewis in 2001. He felt blessed to have a loving wife and son, and soon his happiness got doubled when he got a chance to be a father for the second time.
