She has created an image for herself as the country's one of the top Internet Sensations with her YouTube channel titled doddleoddle where she has garnered more than a million subscribers. She is best known for posting ukulele covers of various songs with her soothing voice along with her piano skills.

Dodie is yet to spill the beans regarding her dating life as of now. But she was rumored to have dated American YouTuber, Evan Edinger back in 2017.

The rumors of them being together fueled up when the two started uploading pictures together in their respective social media accounts. However, Evan revealed that they were just good friends. 

After the rumored relationship with Evan, she was linked with another YouTube star Nathan Zed in April 2015.

Their fan speculated they were together after Nathan shared a picture on his Instagram handle, which had them cuddling up to each other. But, they soon denied the rumor and moved on with their lives.

The only relationship that Dodie had accepted was with a fellow YouTuber, Sammy Paul.

She confirmed her relationship with him in March 2015 via her Twitter account. However, the love between them did not last long, and the same year, they parted ways after attending Summer in the City event in August 2015. Moreover, on 15 August 2015, she made her fans clear that even after their split, the two are still maintaining their relationship as best friends, and everything was okay between the two.

Dodie, in one of her videos, had opened about her first relationship. According to her video, she was 17 years old when she first fell in love with a 22 years old guy. But her first relationship turned out to be a nightmare for her as he was very abusive. Her boyfriend abused her just after the weeks they started dating.

She was abused for not putting the bowl in the right position. However, she managed to date him for two years before she was pulled out of it by one of her friends.

Fans of YouTube star were taken by surprise when Dodie opened up about her sexuality in 2016. In a video that was posted on her channel on 23rd May 2016, she explained she was equally interested in men and women. Further, she also clarified that she is bisexual but not lesbian, although she has kissed women in the past.
