Born in June 1970, the relationship expert has a brother, Mike Morse, the founder of Mike Morse Law Firm Michigan, specializing in the auto, truck, and automobile accident cases.
Her mother is Susan Morse, while her biological father is Joel Samuel Morse. Talking about her father in an Instagram post, she wrote that he had passed away while she was 19.
"My dad was all of the amazing things that fathers are supposed to be: funny, supportive, loving... And on top of all of that, he had a passion for radio. Before I was born, he won a broadcast scholarship to Wayne State University in Detroit to pursue his passion as a radio DJ."
After several years of the death of her father, her mother remarried at the age of 42. As of 2021, Morse’s mother and her step-father, Ed Geren, have completed 35 years of marriage.

"Thank you for being a steady presence of integrity, support, laughter, and love to everyone in our family..."
In 2018, Morse was targeted in a money laundering case that involved her attorney brother, Mike.
As the Detroit News reported, the federal prosecutors pointed out her as a target in the investigation and claimed to have evidence that proved her involvement in money laundering.
The allegation sparked after the federal court reported some unauthorized accident reports from bribed Detroit police officers went into Mike's firm.
Regarding this claim, the federal court investigated Mike's firm, along with his friends and family.
However, Morse later received immunity for her cooperation in the investigation and was claimed as a witness rather than a target.
