Zizo Tshwete is a South African model, radio and television personality, better known for hosting the SABC1 music show, Selimathunzi.
Before starting her career in Journalism, Zizo even won the title of Miss SA Teen pageant.

Born on 12 December 1988, Zizo was raised in a village of South Africa called Idutywa by her parents. She grew up with her brother and a sister. Growing up amongst the love and care of her family, Zizo turned into a family-oriented person who learned to support her loved ones.

Zizo was always private when it came to her personal life. But, in an interview with Thabiso Mokwele on Kaya FM, she talked about her husband and her baby.
Zizo revealed that she met her husband, Mayihlome Tshwete, at Minister of Home Affairs Malusi Gigaba’s 40th birthday celebration in Durban. Zizo went to cover the event for Selimathunzi while her husband was in the organizing team.
At the time, Zizo was not sure about his intentions as she was only focused on her career, but they often met after their first meeting. Slowly, their relationship turned exclusive, leading towards a new step of their life.
The couple soon got married in both western and traditional ceremony. On 11 December 2015, they held their western wedding in East London at the Gonubie Manor venue. And, on 12 December 2015, they enjoyed the traditional Xhosa wedding.

Some months after their marriage, in March 2016, the couple welcomed their first baby to the world. They had a son who they named Vukile.
When their first child was around the age of 1, Zizo and her husband started to have conversations about expanding their family. But rather than expansion, their marriage instead began to crumble.
The rumors of trouble in the couple’s relationship began to surface when the Sunday Sun reported that Mayihlome moved out of their marital home.

In fact, on 16 March 2019, Zizo and Mayihlome celebrated their son's third birthday together.
