Tyler Butler Figueroa is a violinist, who earned the "Golden Buzzer" in season 14 of America's Got Talent in 2019. He finished in the "Bottom 5" of the "Top 10" and also returned to the show's spin-off called America's Got Talent: The Champions 2. This time he got voted until he became one of the finalists.
So far, in AGT's history, he became the "first violinist to receive the Golden Buzzer," as well as AGT's creator and star-judge, Simon Cowell's "first Golden Buzzer that isn't a singer."
For his audition, he impressed Simon with Kelly Clarkson's "Stronger" on the violin, which took him straight to the Quarterfinals. In addition to the golden buzzer, AJ Fletcher Foundation also presented her a new violin through Barbara Goodmon of the Capitol Broadcasting company.
Before AGT fame, Tyler performed on Davie Street in North Carolina as a street musician.

Battling Cancer
When he was four and a half, Tyler got diagnosed with leukemia. On top of that, he was bullied by his classmates because of it. The doctor had treated him with chemotherapy, and as a result, he lost his hair. His classmates made fun of him and spread rumors that his cancer was contagious.

He was really sad and embarrassed to go to school. Then, on a certain day, he saw a flyer at his school that said: "After school program – free violin lessons," and nothing felt more right. "I wanted to start playing the violin because I was being bullied in school,"– said Tyler during his first audition for America's Got Talent.
Now, as of 31 August 2019, Tyler has been in remission for four years.
