Naima Mora is an American fashion model. She is also the winner of Cycle 4 of America`s Next Top Model. Born on 1 March 1984, in Detroit, Michigan, Naima is the daughter of jazz vocalist and entrepreneur Theresa Mora. Meanwhile, her father was jazz percussionist- Francisco Mora Catlett.
No doubt Naima comes from the family of intellects. Her paternal grandfather Francisco Mora was a painter while her grandmother, Elizabeth Catlett was a sculptor, painter, and printmaker. Inspiring one another runs in the family, and is what has kept the bonding even stronger.

Naima grew up with her family on the northwest side of Detroit near West McNichols and Schaefer. Her father being an African-American and Mexican and her mother being Irish and African-American, Naima visibly embraces a mixed ethnicity. Named after the song by John Coltrane called "Naima," she has an identical twin called Nia.
Talking about her education, Naima attended the Bates Academy from where she completed her middle school education. She graduated from the Cass Technical High School in the year 2002. She was also a ballet student, and she attended the Ballet Renaissance as well as the American Ballet theater’s Summer Program in Detroit.

She started her career as a model at the beginning. On 2012 she released the iBook named Naima Mora’s Model Behavior. Since then she appeared on The Tyra Banks Show and also on the premiere of the second season of Veronica Mars. She has also appeared in the advertisement of CoverGirl with Yoanna House.

Naima was dating Josh Stevens- a singer and songwriter from the industry and the couple were believed to go a long way. However, for some reason, the relationship came to an end amidst.
And, while in recent times (2018), Naima filed a suit against the Alberta Ferretti boutique located in West Hollywood, California. The stunner claimed that she was showered with inappropriate comments and unwanted advances while working as a sales associate in the year of 2015.

Moreover, she testified that her manager heightened the harassment by "spanking her butt" in front of her co-workers, humiliating her after a staff meeting. She then added that the manager physically attacked her by shoving her head.
The incident must have traumatized her. It is hard to imagine just how much the event must have troubled her- keeping all that to herself for such a long period.
