Myla Dalbesio, an American model, artist, and writer, was crowned 2004's Miss Wisconsin Teen USA when she was just 16-years-old. All through the process, her scouts tried presenting her as a regular size model; however, the fashion industry considered her size "not skinny enough".
Then, after a few years of taking pills, not sleeping and not eating, with the aim that it would make her fit for the job, she got signed by the Ford Modelling Agency as a plus-sized model.
Later, in 2014, her popularity suddenly escalated after she was announced the first-ever plus-sized model for Calvin Klein.

She had her designers Sachin & Babi create her a custom wedding gown in soft lavender: the same color her mother dressed in when she was getting married to her father in a Wisconsin public park in 1982.
