Danny Baker is an English comedy writer and a journalist.
He was born on 22 June 1957 in Deptford, London, England. He is 5 feet 7 inches(1.71 m) tall.
Danny is the youngest child of his parents, Fred and Elizabeth. He has an older sister named Sharon and had an older brother named Michael, who died at the age of 29.
Talking about schooling, Danny joined Rotherhithe Primary School, and after which, he went to nearby West Greenwich Secondary Boys School, Deptford. He, however, left the school at the age of 14.
After dropping out, Danny worked in a record shop in Soho, central London. He then initiated his writing career in 1977.
At first, he wrote for the Punk fanzine Sniffin’ Glue. And by the late 90s, he wrote a weekly sports column for The Times. Danny also worked for TFI Friday (1996), Wimbledon (2004), and Cradle to Grave (2015.)

On 30th August 2013, Danny uploaded a picture with his wife and children on Twitter and gushed about his 25th wedding anniversary. Danny also disclosed that he and his partner had already welcomed two kids at the time of their wedding.
“It is our 25th Wedding Anniversary today. Officially at least. We did have two kids at the time.”
Well, reciprocating the affection of Danny, his wife, Wendy stands as a supportive wife whenever needed.
For instance, on 22nd November 2016, Danny was objected to bully Martin, but his wife defended him from her London home. She claimed that her husband had never come across as a bully.
Danny Still Battling With Cancer?
Danny was diagnosed with cancer in 2011. At first, he had cancer of a mouth and throat.
For the treatment of cancer, he underwent a plethora of intensive chemotherapy and radiotherapy. As a result of intensive radiation, his saliva glands were damaged due to which, he could barely eat and drink.

When Danny achieved an award for Sony radio personality in 2011, he gave an emotional speech regarding his disease. There, he stated that he had no taste buds and salivary glands and was fed through a tube.

After six years of battle with cancer, Danny finally got rid of disease cancer. As for now, he’s completely fit and healthy.
